Matthew 8:16-17

(16) When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick: (17) that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.

Mark 1:32-34

(32) And at even, when the sun did set, they brought unto him all that were diseased, and them that were possessed with devils. (33) And all the city was gathered together at the door. (34) And he healed many that were sick of divers diseases, and cast out many devils; and suffered not the devils to speak, because they knew him.

Luke 4-40:41

(40) Now when the sun was setting, all they that had any sick with divers diseases brought them unto him; and he laid his hands on every one of them, and healed them. (41) And devils also came out of many, crying out, and saying, Thou art Christ the Son of God. And he rebuking them suffered them not to speak: for they knew that he was Christ.

We have seen now the past few miracles all happened pretty much back to back. This miracle is recorded 3 times and once again each version has its own narrative on how they viewed the miracle. They do not contradict each other but once again only recorded what each thought was relevant. Each version clearly stated that the sick were healed and those possessed with devils, te spirits were cast out.

Matthew went on to reference old testament prophesy;

Isaiah 53:4-6

(4) Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. (5) But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. (6)we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.

If there is any doubt that we might think it is ok for us to be sick and not healed, let those verse set in. God’s plan is for us to live prosperous and a more abundant life. (John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.) The devil wants to consume and destroy every part of our life, our health, our mental state of mind, our lives in whole. Jesus is very clear on is intensions.

We need to take unhealthy and un-faith statements away from our thinking.

Example: If God wants me to be healed, I will be healed.

That statement is a terrible statement to have faith in. Though there is truth to that statement, t requires absolutely no faith on your part. The Bible is very clear on what God wants. We have to make sure we have the faith to believe what it is God wants in our life. Only then we will be able to see miracles manifesting through us and through others.

Matthew 17:20 (KJV)

And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

When I read "If God wants me to be healed, I will be healed" reminds me of the study you put up a while back talking about "If it's God's will, it will happen.. etc".

"If God wants me to be healed, then I will be healed."  The problem with that statement is the word "IF". We know God wants us to be healed, the question we must ask is do we have the faith to believe God wants us to be healed. "If it is God's will, it will happen". The key word is "if" once again. This time the reason this is an unfaith statement, is we need to know the will of God.

Ephesians 5:17
Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.

Throughout the Bible it tells us what God's will is.
1 Thessalonians 4:3
For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication
1 Peter 2:15
For so is the will of God, that with well doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men
1 Thessalonians 5:18
In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

There are many many verses pertaining to the will of God. Those are just some examples.

Here is an example of when the word If is used according to God's will.

1 Peter 3:17
For it is better, "if" the will of God be so, that ye suffer for well doing, than for evil doing.
1 Peter 4:19 )
Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator.
