What the (bleep) was that Virginia Tech? You’re the number 13 ranked team in the country and lost to Old Dominion who hadn’t won a game to that point? Yeesh. As of now, the ACC is a hot pile of garbage. We know Clemson is the top dog in the conference… but quick, name the second best team in the ACC? Yeah, it’s time to push the panic button if you said Duke who is sporting a sneaky 4-0 record. They host Virginia Tech this week. But hey, FSU won. Really. I promise.

And what the heck Texas? Now you decide to show up and beat someone?

Yeah, Oklahoma really did get into a dog fight with Army and it took overtime to finish off the Black Knights. And don’t get me wrong, Army is sneaky good but I have that feeling Oklahoma is going ...

Week 3

I think there is no denying FSU’s fate this year.  After the performance at Syracuse, I think the whole "Dora the Explorer turnover backpack” idea needs to be thrown out.  And in case some of you may have missed it, unlike Miami’s turnover chain, they have a turnover "bag” or "backpack” or whatever you want to call it.  Whatever it is, it’s just not working.  I am only thinking they can squeeze out a few more wins this season.  Poor Adam!  I hear UCF may be having fan tryouts!  Rumor has it, many fans are contributing to a GOFUNDME account to help fund the buyout to get rid of the coach.  After week 3, that is just sad.  Notre Dame is pushing its boundaries with mediocre teams.  They had a tough time at home with good ol Dandy Vandy.  You almost had your 1 point Megan.  ...

Let’s get this out of the way first….Clemson is going undefeated.  As long as the team doesn’t take a dump, the only challenge they’ll get from here on out will be in the ACC Championship game. In the loss, Texas A&M may have stumbled across the blue print in to beating this year’s version of the Tigers by bombing away on the secondary. Aggie quarterback Kellen Mond had the game of his life throwing for 430 yards and three touchdowns which was a career high. However, the A&M run game got stuffed by Clemson’s front four which is considered to be the best Defensive Line in the country.

The Eastern Time zone folks may have missed it, but Arizona State kicked a game winning field goal as time expired to knock off Michigan State in a thriller. All of sudden, the Spartans chances of reaching the ...

The first weekend of college football is in the books and it failed to disappoint. Needless to say, it’s refreshing that college football is back. There were some mild upsets across the country and also some near misses. Such is life though during season openers as teams begin working out the kinks.

Outside of Clemson, the ACC flagship programs faltered over the weekend. Top ranked Miami was a big bag of nothing in their 33-17 loss to LSU. Florida State could not overcome the Hokie defense in a 24-3 loss to Virginia Tech. With match-ups against out of conference power five teams, the ACC had their nose bloodied going 0-3.

Texas is back…..to being Texas, and like last year, dropped their season opener against Maryland. Yeah, Oklahoma looked pretty impressive against an FAU Team expected to win Conference USA. However, don’t sleep on West ...
