Halland News – As Christmas soon falls on Halland, many Halland military personnel are spending time away from their families. Among those spending time away from their families for the holidays is the 13^th Mechanized Infantry Division. The Division was among those that came from a recent deployment near the McDonaldland border which has been redeployed to the southwest of Halland City and along the quiet border of Evelynland. Replacing them on the McDonaldland border was the 17^th Mechanized Infantry Division.

Halland News – Late yesterday, General Amongstus met with McDonaldland leadership in Halland City to discuss the current affairs involving both countries. According to the General, the meetings were "productive” but agenda items were not released to the media.

According to sources, security was at its highest levels yet throughout Halland City due to the meeting between both countries leaders. Security was described as "intense”. Military personnel from the Reserve Infantry Division provided security but were never allowed to be alone but instead operating in teams of four. "I think the fear was very real that McDonaldland Commandoes could have been present and we know they have the stickiest ten fingers in the business,” explained the anonymous source when referencing the famed McDonaldland Commandoes.
