Halland News – General Amongstus announced earlier today that the 40 Halland Military Personnel, which were held against their will, are now safely back in Halland. The hand over occurred this past Friday near the border of McDonaldland.

According to sources, a small contingent of Hallville soldiers released the 40 Halland military personnel from the 1^st Infantry Division. In addition, the remains of the 10 executed Halland military personnel were also given back. In an effort to avoid a potential conflict during the exchange, a small but potent McDonaldland force with heavy tanks served as a mediator.

Sources stated that tensions were high on all sides as members of the 3^rd Mechanized Infantry Division provided security until all forty soldiers were accounted for. Halland News – General Amongstus met with military advisors and Division Commanders earlier today due to the threat of invasion from Hallville and their ally, HSSR. In fact, the Halland Government has warned its citizens to remain diligent throughout the next few months and have a plan in place in the event Halland is invaded.

Schools and businesses have begun running drills throughout towns located near the DMZ, Halland West Coast, and towns along Halland’s Northern Coastline which include Halland City.  During the drills, loud sirens pierce from loud speakers strategically located in each town.
