Halland City, Halland – In honor of the Hallville soldiers that gave up their lives assisting Halland troops on the retaking of Annabelle, a Memorial was erected in Halland City and dedicated to those fallen heroes.
The six month anniversary of the battle was both celebrated and mourned. Large celebrations broke out due to Hallville’s assistance and Annabelle falling back into the hands of Halland. But the mourning was due to over 200 Halland troops losing their lives in the fight.
Flowers were on full display at the Memorial as many citizens placed them all around. "Today marks a beautiful day when two countries that had been at odds are able to come together for a common cause,” stated General Amongstus as he made a speech from the Memorial.
Thousands of Halland residents poured into the Memorial to see the General speak and to pay their respects to the Hallville military members that gave it their all.
The General praised Hallville for their action and sacrifice but hinted that there is still more work to do within the Hall Nations. "Last July was a very important step in the right direction between two prestigious countries in Halland and Hallville. Although it came at a price, there will be a higher price that will need to be paid to ensure that the Hall Nations are always at peace. Even though our two countries have our differences, we should and need to find common ground in order to eliminate threats to not only our own nations, but the Hall Nations as a whole.”
