Southwest, Halland – As of this morning, Halland’s 2nd Infantry Division began clearing operations within the mountainous terrain in Southwest Halland. It’s been exactly one week since military operations began against the Militia.

As the push into the mountains begins, Halland’s 2nd Infantry Commander stressed that patience is required in order for the next phase of the operation to be successful.

"This morning, we have started the 2nd phase of the operation in our fight against the Militia. This phase includes clearing the mountains of any remaining Militia strongholds. The artillery strikes and the weather have contributed to the declining morale of the Militia according to intercepted communications. We also know from these intercepted communications that the Militia did take on casualties. However, this fight against the Militia is far from over and patience is required to ensure we complete our objectives,” stated the Commander.

It appears that roughly half of the 2nd Infantry Division along with Special Operations is conducting the clearing operations in the mountains.

As all eyes are on the Militia, General Amongstus stated earlier in a press conference that they are monitoring a situation within HSSR. "We believe an HSSR attack is imminent on Hallville soil and have concerns about the intentions of HSSR’s Leader.”

The General also reiterated that the Hall Nations failed to see the build-up of HSSR Military as an act of aggression last year. As it stands now, the HSSR Military is more than capable to go on the offensive.

The General stated, "If HSSR acts as the aggressor, I believe Hallville will see HSSR for what it is. In addition, I think two mighty Military powers will unite in Halland and Hallville.”
