Halland City, Halland - General Amongstus had been in meetings with Halland Military Officials since yesterday and called for a press conference late this evening involving the latest HSSR "Weapons Testing" threat.

"Fellow Countrymen, I am saddened by the state of affairs that the Hall Nations now find themselves in. It is in these days that lives can be lost, or in which lives can be saved. We know for certain that HSSR is not only a threat to Halland, but also a threat to the Hall Nations. This is the very reason that the Evelynland Treaty Accord was put in place and must be upheld in the highest regard. Halland leadership, including myself, believe that HSSR must be stopped before things get out of hand. Since when has it become second nature to test potential Nuclear Weapons within a population center? Is this what we want for Halland? Is this what we want for the Hall Nations? The answer is a resounding No. Halland will do everything possible in order to halt this tyranny."

With strong rhetoric coming from the General, it's clear that HSSR is high on the list of priorities.

The General did give an update on the Battle with the Militia stating that the 2nd Infantry Division has cleared roughly 80% of the mountainous terrain in Southwestern Halland and indicated that the Militia had suffered heavy losses the past two days. The General was able to confirm that 41 Militia Members had been killed since the fighting began but that Halland has also suffered casualties including 4 wounded and 2 dead. The Militia Leader still has not been located.

With the 2nd Infantry Division tied up in the fight against the Militia, The General hinted at talking with Hallville Leadership in a possible course of action in which the Halland Military could play a supporting role.

But for now, it's only talk.
