Southwest, Halland - News was just announced that the Militia Leader (pictured above) has been captured and in the process of being transported to Halland City under heavy guard.

The 2nd Infantry Division Commander did give an immediate update. "Today we ended up capturing the Militia Leader among a handful of other Militia Members. There was a brief shoot-out with members of the Militia which was dealt with rather swiftly. Of those Militia Members that gave up after the fight, it was confirmed through DNA testing that the Militia Leader was one of them. We have cleared all of the mountainous terrain and I couldn't be prouder of the 2nd Infantry Division."

"During this last confrontation, the 2nd Division did sustain two casualties. One was airlifted to the Halland City Hospital and is expected to recover and the other was a fatality (pictured above). In total the Militia lost 51 personnel and Halland suffered 3 fatalities with an additional 10 wounded. My heart goes out to those families that lost loved ones in the fight."

With the Militia conflict ending, it's no surprise that General Amongstus will be shifting his attention on HSSR and the fight against the Hall Republic.

The Militia Leader is expected to be transported to the Halland City Jail where he will await a court date and trial. The Militia Leader will join seven HSSR Prisoners that were taken by McDonaldland Commandoes late last year. The jail is heavily guarded by personnel from the Halland Headquarters Division.

According to jail officials, the HSSR prisoners may be transferred over to Hallville in the next few weeks which is pending review. However, if there is a change in the escalating situation with HSSR, then those prisoners may be in a bit longer than expected.
