Halland City, Halland – As tensions seem to be mounting between Halland and the Hallsaw Pact, the Halland Government has released to Halland News some details of the investigation into the execution of Halland Service Members at the hands of HSSR.
Per the details released:
Halland Soldiers were not operating inside HSSR, but only inside Hallville. Confirmation from news outlets inside HSSR confirmed the handover and the reason behind it citing the Hallsaw Pact. "In Our Meetings, Hallville leaders have apologized for the attack, and have repaid the blood by handing over 50 Halland soldiers.” This certainly suggests that rogue groups were not responsible for the killing of Halland soldiers but instead the regular HSSR Army which contradicts reporting from Hallville stating, "We still are not sure how this event took place and if it was conducted by the regular HSSR army or by certain rogue groups that are still at large.” Last known location of the deployed 50 Halland soldiers was within Hallville border (Satellite picture above) which confirms that Hallville Military allowed the seizure of Halland troops inside Hallville.
End of details.
As details of this investigation begin to trickle out, the public is calling on the government to act. Some citizens defaced the Hallville Memorial erected last year for the Hallville soldiers that lost their lives. In that battle, both Halland and Hallville military personnel fought side by side to eradicate a Hall Republic Infantry Division out of the town of Annabelle.
"We are seeing Hallville’s true ambitions with yesterday’s news report as exhibit A. Not only did they send a threat to the Hall Nations in saying be careful on what is said or reported, but are trying to cover up their role in HSSR’s execution of Halland soldiers,” stated a military official. "As of right now, the ball is in Hallville’s court so it will be interesting to see how or if they respond.”
According to one military advisor, the Halland Government has not begun a build-up of forces around the DMZ but did state that additional defensive forces were deployed as a precaution. As of now, the 1st Infantry Division is the only infantry Division at the DMZ. However, that Division is supported by both the 10th and 15th Tank Division. One Artillery Battery from the Field Artillery Division is currently supporting in addition to an unspecified amount of VT-22 Tanks from the HQ Combat Division.
Halland News was advised not to mention other units overlooking the coastlines in Western and Northern Halland.
