New Military Hardware Added To The Halland Military

Halland News – Earlier today, General Amongstus was spotted at the Halland City Port where new military equipment was shipped in. The new military hardware, which had just been freshly painted, was inspected personally by the General.

"Heavy Machine Guns will be mounted later today to the APC’s and wheels to the artillery pieces still must be placed on,” stated the ecstatic General.

According to sources at the port, The 3rd Mechanized Infantry Division will be the beneficiary of the 9 Armored Personnel Carriers (APC’s) once the heavy machine guns are mounted. The 10 artillery pieces will obviously go to the Field Artillery Division.

However, military sources hinted at the notion that the Field Artillery Division may eventually be disbanded and the guns added to each Infantry Division. "In order for the infantry divisions to be a more effective fighting force, we believe we should give each the capability to have artillery at their side instead of relying on an entire Artillery Division to meet their needs. By doing this, we hope to eliminate confusion and each infantry division will be self-sufficient,” cited the source.

In addition, The General stated earlier in the year that he is looking to upgrade the Halland Military so that it is capable of moving swiftly on the battle field in order to overwhelm an adversary. In total, the Halland Military now has 19 APC’s with 10 of them belonging to the 5th Mechanized Infantry Division. The other 9, which was previously stated, will be added to the 3rd Mechanized Infantry Division. With those APC’s added, it will free up other vehicles which will support the 1st and 2nd Infantry Divisions.

According to the General, each Infantry Division will eventually be mechanized. Which means the Halland Military is expecting additional equipment to arrive in the coming months.
