Halland News – For months, the Halland Intelligence Agency (HIA) has been analyzing and monitoring the military build-up inside Sammyville. As pictures leaked from the Sammyville Government of tanks lined up to be painted; that sent multiple intelligence agencies from other Hall nations scrambling for Intel.
According to the HIA it’s estimated that 2,000 active combat personnel reside in the Sammyville military. To put that into perspective, that’s roughly the same amount of active military personnel in the Halland military. Now equipped with close to 80 tanks, Sammyville has served notice to the rest of the Hall nations that there is yet another military power to contend with.
"Sammyville is spending a large amount of money on military equipment which raises several eyebrows,” stated one HIA analyst. "It’s not like the economy is booming in Sammyville and it almost parallels HSSR military spending several years ago.” Now the million dollar question. Why is Sammyville spending large sums of money on their military?
One military expert weighed in and believes that Sammyville has aspirations of becoming a relevant nation just like the rest of the Hall superpowers in Hallville, Halland, HSSR, McDonaldland, and Hall Republic. The only Hall nation left that is not a superpower is Evelynland which was decimated during the first Hall War. In fact, Evelynland’s economy still hasn’t recovered. "Sammyville is overtly making their intentions known by broadcasting what they’re doing from a build-up perspective,” cited the military expert. "However, they are secretive in how much military equipment they actually have and what future plans they have.”
During the Nation Leadership Summit in Hallville, the Sammyville government reported that one of their soldiers went missing and all indications point to an abduction. According to the HIA, they have received intelligence that the Sammyville government knows exactly who is behind the possible abduction and retribution plans are underway by the Sammyville military. It’s easy to speculate which country may be behind the possible Sammyville soldier abduction, but many intelligence agencies are quick to point out that there is strong evidence indicating that Sammyville is the one sending out the anonymous letters of two Hallville soldiers being held captive. There is also classified evidence circulating that the Sammyville government attempted to retrieve other Hallville soldiers during the Nation Leadership Summit.
Whatever is going inside the Sammyville government, one thing is for certain; it is a government not to be trusted. The Halland Government is keenly aware of Sammyville’s aspirations and capabilities and has shown thus far it is not an ally to the Halland Government.
