Halland News – According to military sources, the entire Halland government has finalized outfitting the entire military with the new Battle Dress Uniform (BDU). That’s approximately 2,000 military personnel that have gone through the re-outfitting. The Halland military decided to go to a new BDU after discovering the HSSR Army had the same tan uniform as Halland.

"It’s truly astounding how fast we outfitted the whole military,” stated the Commander for the 2nd Infantry Division. "We were the last Division to be outfitted with the new BDU’s and our soldiers are excited to be wearing them.”

The Infantry Divisions will continue the tradition of utilizing colored helmets to distinguish the Divisions although some Divisions will not have colored helmets. The Reserve Brigades, HQ Combat Division, and the 4th Infantry Division will not have colored helmets. Below are the divisions and the colored helmet each division is associated with.

1st Infantry Division – Black Helmets with new BDU’s

2nd Infantry Division – Red Helmets with new BDU’s

3rd Mechanized Infantry Division – Green Helmets with new BDU’s

5th Mechanized Infantry Division – Brown Helmets with new BDU’s.

The Halland Government is also close to announcing that the HQ Combat Division will eventually dissolve into a mechanized Infantry Division soon. "This Division had been mechanized for some time but we are going to reallocate some of the specialized equipment to the Infantry Divisions just as we did with the Artillery Division which is obsolete,” said the 2nd Infantry Division Commander. "The HQ Combat Division will continue to keep some of the equipment even as it transitions into a new mechanized Infantry Division. We’re continuing to modernize the military at the direction of General Amongstus. The whole purpose of this modernization is to give as much flexible fire power to the Infantry Divisions as possible in an effort to overwhelm an adversary.”
