Halland News – General Amongstus was observed at an undisclosed location today celebrating his birthday. The General was meeting with the commander of the Operations Unit and was overheard congratulating the commander on a job well done which may be connected to the rumors recently published ( http://www.secfootball.net/hallwars/blog.php?entry_id=1546624756&title=rumors-circulating-of-military-operation-in-foreign-country).

The General was in such good spirits, he stated he may slowly withdraw troops in the coming weeks from the McDonaldland border since the McDonaldland Government appears to be meeting the demands of the Halland Government of conducting no operations inside Halland and keeping Hallville troops out of McDonaldland.

Currently, three Mechanized Infantry Divisions (14^th, 15^th, & 17^th) are deployed along the McDonaldland border. The 1,000 military personnel along that border will no doubt be ecstatic about returning back to their bases. However, a military official did say border security will still need to be tight and at least one Division from the Halland Military would be operating along the McDonaldland border if and when General Amongstus gives the green light for the withdrawal.
