Halland News – For the past three years, General Amongstus has been slowly modernizing the Halland Military. Over the last few months, the General has even hinted that the military was agonizing close to the goal of modernization. With the announcement via Twitter of the newly created 6th Infantry Division and the deactivation of the Reserve Infantry Division, the General ended the tweet with "modernization complete!”
What does modernization look like in the Halland Military? "For starters, we wanted to have powerful Infantry Divisions that could move on the battlefield rapidly and that’s what we have with the four Mechanized Infantry Divisions,” stated the Commander of the 17th Mechanized Infantry Division. "We also wanted new battle dress uniforms (BDU’s) for the entire military and colored helmets to identify which Division a particular soldier is from. Our military also badly needed upgraded military equipment in order to be more effective in a more modern battlefield.” According to the Commander, the 17th Mechanized Infantry Division was the last Division to receive the new colored helmets which are white (pictured below).
Military officials have confirmed that all of the military personnel from the Reserve Infantry Division has been reallocated to the 6th Infantry Division. "It was just a transfer of troops and equipment, that’s all,” stated the military official.” The 6th Infantry Division currently boasts the largest Infantry Division in Halland from a military personnel standpoint. "The 6th Infantry Division, if ever needed, would be called upon if a large amount of troops were needed for a particular operation,” cited the military official.
With modernization complete, the next question is now what? "Just wait and see,” stated the Commander of the 17th Mechanized Infantry Division. "We know those countries by name who are attempting to cause tension between us and our ally.”
