Has Hallville let down the McDonaldland Government?

Halland News – Two weeks ago, General Amongstus authorized a military operation into McDonaldland in a large show of force which sent the McDonaldland military into hiding. Now that the dust has settled, the question now is what’s next? Halland Military leaders were perplexed at the decision of the McDonaldland Army to go into hiding but it’s become more apparent that McDonaldland military leadership may have been waiting on an ally that never came to the rescue.

"I think it’s amazing that as of now, the Halland Military has complete freedom of navigation inside McDonaldland whenever it wishes,” cited one military official. "I’m under the impression that McDonaldland military leadership was probably hoping that a potential ally would come to the rescue and that ally turned a blind eye.”

That ‘ally’ the military official is referring to is probably Hallville, though the official didn’t directly name the country. There have been grumblings throughout the Hall Nations that Hallville perhaps let down the McDonaldland Government. "Let’s put it this way, if someone were to invade Hall Republic, the Halland Military would go on the offensive immediately,” said the military official. "Heck, even the threat of Halland being invaded prompted Sir Plots Alot to send a large force to defend Halland several years ago and they still remain here to this day. That’s what allies do.”

But how could both McDonaldland and Hallville be caught off guard by such a swift military operation from Halland? Surely, Hallville knew that the chances of a Halland Operation inside McDonaldland were imminent. And surely the Hallville Government could have sent troops to help defend McDonaldland. But they didn’t. Why? Maybe they aren’t allies after all. Maybe Hallville wanted McDonaldland to fall.

In fact, General Amongstus publicly commented that a call was placed to the Hallville Government while ‘Operation Green Light’ was underway. The General also indicated that the Hallville Government was warned to stay out of the way and complied. The fact that Hallville has been silent and even complied should worry McDonaldland. If I were McDonaldland, I’d be looking for a new ally.
