Halland News – Earlier today, General Amongstus praised the efforts of the Hall Republic Military that supported ‘Operation Green Light’ several weeks ago. According to the General, approximately 60 troops, 6 jeeps, and 7 tanks from Hall Republic supported Halland’s 2nd Infantry Division by providing security for the artillery batteries. "Though not a single shot was ever fired, I appreciate the bravery of the Hall Republic Military for voluntarily supporting Operation Green Light,” stated the General.
As a gift of appreciation, the Halland Government is gifting the Hall Republic Military a non-specified amount of armored personnel carriers that are unique to Halland. "The Hall Republic military stationed in Halland is already in possession of one of the armored personnel carriers and have already begun utilizing it,” cited a government official. "The rest of the armored personnel carriers will be arriving soon.”
It’s no secret that select countries are attempting to undermine the Halland / Hall Republic alliance in order to cause tension and create controversy. In fact, the Halland Intelligence Agency (HIA) has collected a large amount of evidence supporting that claim. "We believe the end game for McDonaldland is to have all Hall Republic troops removed from Halland,” stated an HIA official. We also believe that others may be supporting that cause as well. We are doing everything in our power to convince Hall Republic that the country of Halland is still under threat and that Hall Republic military personnel and equipment are very much needed here.”
Many Halland military officials believe that due to the Hall Republic military presence in Halland, it has deterred other countries from attempting to attack or invade Halland. It’s no coincidence that the main Hall Republic Military force stationed in Halland is just a few miles from the DMZ that borders Hallville. But if McDonaldland continues to ramp up rhetoric that would attempt to undermine the Halland / Republic alliance, then another operation inside McDonaldland may be needed. "Even if the McDonaldland army goes into hiding again, there will be shots fired the next time and it won’t be pretty,” cited a military official.
