Halland News – The Halland Intelligence Agency (HIA) is considered to be the top intelligence agency throughout the Hall Nations. In fact, they have foiled multiple misinformation campaigns aimed at Halland and have produced valuable intelligence which has been critical for the security of the country. For the first time ever, Halland News was given exclusive permission to go behind closed doors to get a sneak peak of the day to day operations of the HIA.
Contrary to many beliefs, the HIA is a very small and dynamic team made up of highly skilled individuals. The team is made up of non-military personnel though some do possess a Halland military background. They are headquartered in Halland City (Halland’s Capital) and maintain regular communication with General Amongstus and Military Commanders.
The HIA’s mission is to identify and communicate risks pertaining to the security of Halland. "Let’s face it, there are a lot of people out there that are not fond of our country,” stated an HIA official. "It’s imperative that we quickly identify potential security risks and get that information into the appropriate hands as fast as possible in order to mitigate that risk.” And if you don’t already know, they have the tools and technology at their disposal to get the job done.
For starters, the HIA does monitor news outlets in foreign countries and often receives communication that comes from various sources on the ground. The HIA also relies heavily on radar, satellite imagery, and a tracking application that monitors real time threats. But it doesn’t end there. They also perform complex investigations that could potentially compromise the security of Halland and utilize advance technology as needed. For investigative purposes, field tactics are also conducted in order to obtain and collect evidence.
But rest assured citizens of Halland; if there’s a threat to the country, the HIA will not only analyze or investigate the threat, but they’ll quickly pass that information on to the General who has the authority to do something about it.
