Halland News – Last week, General Amongstus visited Evelynland with a
military force from Halland’s 14th Mechanized Infantry
Division and soldiers from the Hall Republic. The soldiers accompanying the
General were providing security during the General's stay. According to
sources, the General arrived early and wanted to get a head start on
diplomacy talks with representatives from Sammyville and Evelynland before
other Hall Nations gathered. Military Officials stated that 'several hundred'
Halland Military personnel escorted the General. An even larger Hall Republic
force was present in the event the 14th Mechanized Infantry Division needed
support.
Meanwhile, the Halland Military sent patrols into
McDonaldland after hearing reports of a large Hallville armada that had entered
McDonaldland while the General visited. A significant amount of
reconnaissance had been reported by both Halland and Hallville on each
other. Photos emerged of the patrols conducted by the Halland
Military throughout McDonaldland (below). In addition to the patrols, artillery
from the 14th Mechanized Infantry Division was present to provide
fire support to the patrols if needed.
The Hallville military force that entered McDonaldland was
estimated to be around 2,000 personnel which included several armored divisions
supported by artillery. Military officials feared a confrontation was imminent
but fizzled out due to special circumstances.
