Halland News – As the Halland Government prepares for another Leadership Summit inside Evelynland in the next few weeks, the Halland Military has yet to announce any official deployment to Evelynland. However, a couple of questions do linger though. For instance, how does the Halland Military really decide on which unit(s) to deploy? What unit is most often deployed?
For starters, we’ll answer the second question first. According to the Halland Military, the Special Operations Unit has been deployed the most and it’s not even close. As far as foreign engagements are concerned, the Special Operations Unit has seen combat in the 1st Hall War (2002) and inside Hallville during ‘Operation Capture or Kill’ (2017). It also participated in combat operations during the ‘Halland Militia Uprising’ (2016) inside Halland. The Special Operations Unit has also deployed on numerous other occasions inside McDonaldland and Evelynland to ensure the safety and security of Halland diplomats and high ranking officials.
To answer the first question, it really does depend on the scope and mission as to how Halland military officials decide on which unit to deploy. During ‘Operation Green Light’ (2019), the Halland Military deployed the 15th and 17th Mechanized Infantry Divisions as the point of attack into McDonaldland because of the need for power and mobility on the battle field. In support was the 2nd Infantry Division which supported the operation with superior artillery fire power and additional man power.
However, each deployment is weighed carefully according to military officials. "Intelligence is always a determining factor on how we weigh specific units for deployment,” stated a high ranking military official. "Some of our Infantry Divisions are equipped for certain battlefield conditions and others are perhaps equipped a different way which make them all unique. But there are also other factors that come into play as well that we won’t necessarily get into for security purposes.”
One thing is certain though, the Halland Military will have some sort of presence at the Hall Leadership Summit…and perhaps, so will others. Let’s just hope for a peaceful summit.
