Halland News – A Halland Military Official finished briefing the media and advised Halland News that the 2^nd Infantry Division will be deploying to the McDonaldland border effective immediately. The Military Official also stated that 2^nd Infantry Division will be replacing the 14^th Mechanized Infantry Division which is currently deployed at the McDonaldland border. "Once the 2^nd Infantry Division arrives at its destination, the 14^th Mechanized Infantry Division can return back to its home base,” cited the military official.

It’s believed that General Amongstus could potentially be considering a troop withdrawal from the McDonaldland border due to cooperation from the McDonaldland Government on several issues. "The 2^nd Infantry Division deployment may be the long term solution along the McDonaldland border to provide security for the country as the Mechanized Infantry Divisions pull out,” stated a military analyst. "This is good news for both Halland and McDonaldland.”

Halland News – General Amongstus was observed at an undisclosed location today celebrating his birthday. The General was meeting with the commander of the Operations Unit and was overheard congratulating the commander on a job well done which may be connected to the rumors recently published ( http://www.secfootball.net/hallwars/blog.php?entry_id=1546624756&title=rumors-circulating-of-military-operation-in-foreign-country).

The General was in such good spirits, he stated he may slowly withdraw troops in the coming weeks from the McDonaldland border since the McDonaldland Government appears to be meeting the demands of the Halland Government of conducting no operations inside Halland and keeping Hallville troops out of McDonaldland.

Currently, three Mechanized Infantry Divisions (14^th, 15^th, & 17^th) are deployed along the McDonaldland border.
