North of Evelynland, Halland
– General Amongstus’ deadline for the Militia expired late last night and as
the sun rose this morning, not a single member of the Militia surrendered. General
Amongstus gave the orders for the 2nd Infantry Division to engage
the Militia which was dug into the mountains of Southwestern Halland.
Four large Artillery pieces began pounding Militia positions
in the mountains which broke the morning silence. The thundering sound of artillery lasted
roughly 30 minutes. Then it fell silent again.
Hours later, the Commander of the 2nd Infantry acknowledged
that General Amongstus has turned over all Military Operations over to the 2nd
Infantry Division which is supported by the Halland Field Artillery Division
and Halland Special Operations.
