General Amongstus Delivers Strong Message During Briefing


Halland News – General Amongstus briefed the country today while speaking in front of hundreds of troops from the HQ Combat Division in Halland City on current affairs and military matters. Below are quotes taken from the briefing.

"I am very honored and proud of all the men and women who serve in this great military. We must remain grateful for the ones that made the ultimate sacrifice and never forget who they are.”

"We set extremely challenging goals within the military nearly two years ago and have almost delivered on all of them beginning with the modernization of our great military.

"We fought long and hard to increase defense spending which paid dividends. We were able to add two additional Infantry Divisions which we fully mechanized with armored personnel carriers and other supporting equipment, and now have four of the six Infantry Divisions fully mechanized.”

Halland Stepping Up Patrols Along Coastline

Halland News – Last week, the HSSR State Press announced that a new war ship had been built that could potentially skirt the Halland coastline in the coming weeks. In response, the Halland Military has stepped up patrols (pictured above) off the Halland coast to ensure if the HSSR ship does set sail, it stays in international waters.

According to military officials, the Halland Military has an unspecified number of ships in its fleet and are mainly used to patrol the waterways. Some ships are smaller and are mounted with heavy machine guns, like the one seen above, while others pack heavy weaponry and are equipped with missiles.  The latter have been deemed classified and photographs of the much larger ships are not available.
