Halland News – General Amongstus has announced a new campaign aimed at significantly increasing the number of military reservists across Halland, citing growing regional security concerns and the need for a more resilient defense force.
Speaking at a press conference in Halland City, General Amongstus outlined a multi-year strategy focused on recruitment, training, and community engagement. The initiative seeks to strengthen reserve formations by encouraging former service members, skilled civilians, and young adults to join the reserve ranks.
"Our objective is to ensure that Halland maintains a capable and responsive reserve force that can support active-duty personnel during emergencies, national defense operations, and disaster response missions,” General Amongstus said.
According to defense officials, the plan includes expanded recruiting centers, financial incentives for reservists, and partnerships with local employers. Businesses participating in the program will receive support for employees who choose to serve part-time in the military reserves.
