Halland Military Enacts Another Division

Halland News – The Halland Military officially announced earlier today that it has enacted the 4th Mechanized Infantry Division.  That now brings the total active Infantry Divisions to five. According to government sources, the new division had been planned for at least a year but finally received funding for the Division a few months ago. "The military personnel have been fully trained and their vehicles are operational,” stated the source. "In other words, the 4th Infantry Division is combat ready.”

This is the first time in history that the Halland Military has operated with five active infantry divisions and all indications are pointing to McDonaldland’s military build-up. "It’s no surprise that the government has enacted another Division,” cited a retired military analyst. "It appears countries are building up militarily around Halland and anyone can look at a map of the country to see that Halland is boxed in by other Hall nations.”

According to the government, the active five Infantry Divisions alone boast over 1,600 military personnel which exclude personnel from other Divisions. The government also stated that the military can enact 3 other Infantry Divisions if needed, but doubt they’ll ever need that many active duty personnel.

Pictured below are photos from the new Division and also where each Division is currently deployed. The 1st Infantry Division is currently overlooking the DMZ. The 2nd Infantry Division is deployed along Halland’s west coast to deter any beach assault. The 3rd Mechanized Infantry Division is deployed just to the North of McDonaldland. The 4th and 5th Mechanized Infantry Divisions are operating to the North and South of Halland City.

In other news, General Amongstus has formally announced that the McDonaldland captive will not face a military tribunal but instead will be turned over to McDonaldland without any consequences. The tribunal will continue for the 23 militia members that gave themselves up after a military confrontation took place earlier in the year. If convicted for treason, the punishments range from prison time to death by firing squad.
