Halland News – After the dust has settled on the brief firefight in Evelynland between Halland and Hallville forces, the Halland Military believes that Hallville wanted to get a good view of a Halland Mechanized Infantry Division up close. "We strongly believe that the Hallville military wanted to get a good look at one of our mechanized infantry divisions for intelligence purposes,” stated the commander of the 14^th Mechanized Infantry Division whose division engaged Hallville forces. "Well, they got a good look and then some.”

This was the first time that Hallville has engaged Halland forces since General Amongstus finished modernizing the military. The Hallville force in Evelynland most likely realized that they were only engaging the leading edge of the 14^th Mechanized Infantry Division which was embedded with Hall Republic Troops as well. What was behind the leading edge of the 14^th Mechanized Infantry Division that was ambushed by Hallville forces was additional devastating fire power. Perhaps that’s the reason Hallville troops tactically withdrew.

The Halland military believes that approximately nine or ten Hallville soldiers were killed during the engagement and several combat vehicles neutralized. According to the military, half of the Hallville soldiers killed were by Halland missile strikes.

Halland’s dead soldiers were buried this past weekend and celebrated as heroes for protecting Evelynland’s sovereignty. The soldiers were buried in the Halland national cemetery where soldiers from past wars and conflicts also lay. Since 2002, 664 Halland soldiers have been buried at the Halland National Cemetery.
