Militia Members Shoot up Halland City Jail

Halland City, Halland – Earlier today, a spokesman for the Halland State Police stated that three militia members shot several rounds off at the Halland City Jail and sped off. State Police gave chase but allowed the Militia Members to enter the rural area outside Halland City.

As the Militia members entered a rural area, State Police managed to kill two of the militia members after a brief shootout. All three Militia members abandoned their vehicle and fled on foot before the two were killed. The third militia member is still at large and considered armed and dangerous. A manhunt is currently underway.

However, State Police did confirm that one State Police officer was critically injured and died of his wounds after being shot in the upper torso. According to the spokesman, the officer was killed after giving chase to one of the deceased militia members.

As the investigation continues to unfold, the spokesman stated that he believes the Militia members had aspirations to break into the Halland City Jail and attempt to free the Militia Leader who is currently being held for crimes against the Republic of Halland. "There is credible evidence that the Militia members were deterred due to a heavy presence of State Police located within the Halland City Jail,” stated the Spokesman.

The General has not yet been available for comment but had disbanded the Militia earlier in the year after a military campaign took place to root out the Militia in Southwest Halland.
