Analyst Concerned With Security Along Halland's Borders

Halland City, Halland – A military analyst has petitioned the Halland Government to look into doing a better job of securing the Halland border. The analyst has constructed a map (pictured above) on all current Halland Military Unit placements and was deeply concerned with the country’s porous border.

"Based on current information and a little digging, I was able to identify all Halland Military units and their estimated position and mapped them,” stated the analyst. "By looking at the unit placement, I became more than concerned that our borders were not as protected as they should be.”

The analyst was able to map border areas that had no visible military presence which were rated as ‘poor’ shown in a red dotted line. The yellow dotted lines represented ‘fair’ military presence but not nearly enough, and the green lines represented ‘good’ military presence.

Halland News approached a military official but the official brushed off any concerns. "We have exhausted all military man power and quite honestly, we don’t have the budget to do more at this time. We are looking at adding and outfitting an additional Infantry Division but until our new budgets roll in, there’s nothing we can do except to utilize the reserves as much as we can.”

It’s a known fact that the General activated all three Reserves Brigades but they are mostly stationed in areas that are ‘less hostile’ according to the Analyst’s map. It’s also true that Halland has rather large borders with neighboring countries. "It’s also a secondary reason we gave land to McDonaldland,” stated the Military Official.

By looking at the map, the entire back eastern side of Halland has a rating of a ‘poor’ military presence but that could be due to the 2nd Infantry Division, and artillery battery, and the 20th Tank Division deploying to the Western Coastline which was previously deployed near the border of Hall Republic.  It’s also interesting to note that 3 of the 4 Batteries from the Field Artillery Division have deployed to the Western side of the country.

"If more military units keep getting deployed to the western coast or the DMZ, that just means more areas of our border will have no military presence,” cried the analyst.

However, it’s highly unlikely an invasion force would not been seen through satellite or drones. Halland does have technology to identify countries’ military movements in which the HIA (Halland Intelligence Agency) monitors.
