Halland City, Halland – Last week, it was confirmed that Hallville conducted a beach assault inside HSSR and it appears both now are at war. General Amongstus confirmed earlier that he had been in contact with the Hallville government but did not elaborate as to what was discussed.
The General did state that Halland military personnel had not taken part in the beach assault inside HSSR but did not rule out future engagements. Approximately 50 personnel from the 1st Infantry Division left for Hallville nearly three months ago and there is no time table on when they will return.
As Hallville begins their assault on HSSR, it comes at a time when HSSR is at its peak militarily. Though Hallville was able to gain a foot hold in the country, this war seems far from over.
Hallville would have been wise to join the international coalition a year ago when the powers that be were eager to enforce the Evelynland Treaty Accord. After all, HSSR ignored all calls to stop military spending and even diplomatic efforts failed. Hallville could have saved the lives of many but now put many in the face of danger.
However, this war does impact Halland and it appears sooner or later that Halland will join the fight. In the last few weeks, it appears that the Halland Military has seen an uptick in training new soldiers and even brand new military equipment has been observed rolling in through the port. Military officials have remained mum but the Halland Military seems to be gearing up for a fight.
The only question that needs to be answered is not if… but when Halland will join the attack against HSSR.
