Southwest Halland, - Halland’s 2nd Infantry Division is in day 4 of the confrontation with the armed Militia which is holed up in the mountains of Southwestern Halland.

Since Tuesday, Halland Artillery has greeted the Militia each morning with thunderous booms on the mountain side.

Halland reporters were able to access satellite maps (pictured above) of the area and mapped out where the majority of the artillery strikes are concentrated and where both the 2nd Infantry and Special Operations are roughly placed.

Halland’s 2nd Infantry Commander stated earlier today that, as of yesterday, Special Operations units have gained entry to the mountain on the far Eastern side where mortar and sniper teams are now deployed. Small arms fire and large explosions are sometimes heard within that vicinity. In addition, the Commander also stated that spotters are scouting Militia positions and relaying the coordinates to the Field Artillery Division.

When pressed if there had been any Military casualties to date, the Commander stated that he was not yet authorized to speak to the media about it. "Currently we are taking our time on getting great intelligence and moving very cautiously due to the terrain and weather. As you know it has been cold and rainy, and we are hoping that that the weather reduces the Militia’s will to fight and decreases their morale,” added the Commander.

It is still unknown when the 2nd Infantry Division begins approaching and clearing the mountainous region.
