Militia Attempts To Seize Power In Halland

Halland City, Halland – Yesterday evening, the Militia Spokesman stated that the Militia would do everything in its power to ensure General Amongstus is removed from office.

That prompted responses from the Halland Military. Halland Special Operations and Halland’s 2nd Infantry Division were in route late last night to the mountainous terrain where the Militia is holding out in the Southwest portion of Halland; just North of Evelynland.

The leader of the Militia (pictured above) has already stated that the Halland Government is in direct violation of stealing land after the 1st Hall War by annexing Neutral territory. Now, the leader of the Militia has come out publically stating that General Amongstus is unfit to lead Halland due to the deteriorating political landscape within the Hall Nations.

"First off, General Amongstus led a fairly weak coalition against HSSR 6 months ago and never even had a chance of getting to HSSR due to the Hall Republic’s takeover of Annabelle. I would have never included the Hall Republic in any sort of coalition. In addition, HSSR continues military spending and the General is not doing a thing about it,” stated the Militia Leader. "He’s not a fit leader and we need to do everything we can to stop the spending prowess of HSSR. HSSR is now much stronger than it was 6 months ago. Let’s not forget that the General still has not avenged the lives lost during the battle for Annabelle by hitting the Hall Republic on their own soil.”

With the strong rhetoric coming from the Militia Leader, the Halland Government is now acting quickly to squash any type of revolt.

General Amongstus has issued an ultimatum for the Militia to come out from the mountains and turn themselves in. If not, the Halland Military will force them out. The ultimatum ends tomorrow night.

The 2nd Infantry Division has already deployed an artillery battery from the Halland’s Field Artillery Division and is standing by for orders. It is unclear what role Halland’s Special Operations will play.
