Halland News – The Halland Government has just announced that a second Hallville soldier being held captive had been executed after being found guilty of ‘Committing Conspiracy against Halland’ by a military tribunal. However, the soldier was executed by the remaining Hallville soldier being held captive. A military spokesman then stated the reasoning behind it.
"Prior to the second military tribunal, one of the Hallville captives had approached us and had decided that he wanted to switch his allegiance to Halland and would serve in the Halland Army if given the chance. After deliberating with military and government officials, it was decided that we could pursue that option for this particular soldier. So in an effort to prove his allegiance, he decided upon himself that he would execute the remaining soldier after the conclusion of the tribunal.”
For now, the remaining Hallville captive will still be held at an undisclosed location in Halland City but will be given a chance to enter the Halland Military within the coming weeks. This is the first documented time in which a soldier has switched their allegiance to another country. Per sources, the soldier will be on a probationary period after entering the Halland Military and will be under surveillance to ensure there is no sabotage. Although the soldier came from a prestigious Hallville Special Forces unit, the Hallville captive will have to go through training just like every other Halland soldier.
