Halland Government Set to Begin Military Tribunal for Detained Hallville Soldiers

Halland News – Now that the Hall Nations meeting in Evelynland is in the rear view mirror, the Halland Military will be moving forward on holding a military tribunal involving the three detained Hallville soldiers. The announcement of the military tribunal comes  after the news that Hallville did indeed bring irregular soldiers to Evelynland which defied Evelynland’ s request of having no Hallville troops inside its borders.  According to the Halland Intelligence Agency (HIA), at least two of the HSSR executioners were also present in Evelynland (pictured above) which clearly shows that they were possibly never detained by Hallville in the first place and were there to taunt the Halland Government.

Halland News is told that the tribunal will be held behind closed doors within a week and will focus on the soldiers’ role in detaining the 50 Halland military personnel from the 1st Infantry Division back in 2016 and turning them over to HSSR. Ten of the Halland military personnel were later executed at the hands of four HSSR soldiers.

According to protocol, a Halland military official will hear the case against the Hallville soldiers and will determine their sentence. If found guilty of any crimes, the punishment could range from imprisonment in a military prison up to the death penalty by a firing squad. The Hallville soldiers will have some representation but that representation will not be coming from Hallville.

"Hallville has turned their backs on their own soldiers and has admitted to the Halland Government that none of their soldiers were missing,” cited a government official. "This is in fact a ludicrous claim and in speaking with the detained Hallville soldiers, they have mentioned that they have been deeply disappointed in the Hallville Government and even feel betrayed by their own government. They have come to the realization that they will not be rescued by their own country nor will their country come to their defense.”

The detained soldiers will have an opportunity to speak for themselves during the tribunal if they choose to do so. However, a sentence is expected to be carried out swiftly and without delay if found guilty.  General Amongstus was in favor of a military tribunal over a public trial due to the political nature of a public trial. The General also entertained the idea of transferring the detained Hallville soldiers over to the Hall Republic as a sentence but was reluctant in doing so due to the possibility of human rights violations at the hands of the Hall Republic government.

So what happens if the detained Hallville soldiers are found guilty and worst case scenario are sentenced to death? How will the Hallville Government respond? Based on their track record, the Hallville government won’t respond. They didn’t back up their ally McDonaldland when Halland invaded in 2019. They didn’t react when Halland’s Special Operations Unit went inside Hallville and skirmished with a Hallville patrol in 2017. They won’t and can’t do anything because Hallville betrays their own. McDonaldland knows this to be true and now these detained soldiers have come to that realization.

And to think this is all because the Hallville government chose to not turn over the four HSSR executioners. The families of the detained Hallville soldiers must be stricken with grief over their own government. I’m guessing justice is about to be served on a silver platter and that Halland is about to even the score.
