Halland News – It’s been well over a year since the Halland Army added military personnel to any of its divisions. Photographed above are dozens of soldiers boarding trucks that are on the back end of their artillery training. According to military officials, the soldiers will be assigned to the 1st Infantry Division and will be manning the artillery batteries that support the division. The 1st Infantry Division is currently deployed to the DMZ which borders Halland and Hallville. The soldiers are in the process of obtaining the new Battle Dress Uniform (BDU) and upgrading to their new black helmet which designates the unit they belong to. The soldiers will be finishing up their training within the week.

Military officials also stated that the Halland Army is not expected to add any additional personnel which already boasts over 2,000 troops. Military officials expressed that the security of Halland is important and that having additional personnel along the DMZ is instrumental to repelling any type of attack that may come from the other side.

Sources indicated that the need for additional military personnel along the DMZ came at the request of the Commander of the 1st Infantry Division who had cited security concerns to General Amongstus over two months ago. It is not certain if those concerns have been addressed with the addition of the new soldiers.
