How Will Halland Government Respond If McDonaldland, Hallville Issue No Apology?

Halland News – As the Halland Government awaits for a demanded apology from both McDonaldland and Hallville, government sources indicated earlier in the week that there were ‘options on the table’ to address the detention of Halland representatives while inside McDonaldland last July. Though government sources declined to offer what exactly those options were, a history lesson may give us clues on how the Halland Government may respond.

Let’s rewind back to January 2018 when McDonaldland was accused by the Halland Government of an illegal photo-operation taken while General Amongstus was on a cabin retreat. The Halland Intelligence Agency (HIA) viewed the operation as a threat to National Security. After some deliberation by the General, an order was given to deploy portions of the Halland Military along the McDonaldland border. Those military units sat until February of 2019 when given the green light to advance into McDonaldland. Essentially, General Amongstus sent military units to the border of McDonaldland until he felt comfortable in justifying a military operation inside a foreign country. That military operation was justified in the eyes of the Halland Government after intelligence indicated that the McDonaldland Government attempted to undermine the Halland / Hall Republic alliance.

Going even further back to June 2016, a build-up of the Halland military occurred near the DMZ after HSSR executed 10 Halland military personnel from the 1st Infantry Division while on a deployment to Hallville. The HIA collected enough evidence to show that the Hallville government seized the Halland Military personnel and turned them over to HSSR military members. During the Hall Leadership Summit in June of 2017 and nearly a year later, the General authorized an attempted mission to capture or kill the four HSSR military members responsible for the execution. The mission didn’t go as planned as 3 Halland Special Operators were lost after killing 9 Hallville soldiers.

In the above two scenarios, the Halland Government waited patiently until launching any type of military operation. So how might the General respond this time around? The Halland Government could launch missions utilizing Halland’s Special Operations Unit which has recently doubled in size. And let’s not forget that dozens of soldiers from Hall Republic’s Elite Guard could also be available for specialized military operations since they too are highly trained for such missions.

Would the General risk an all-out military confrontation with Hallville or McDonaldland, or even both at the same time? The General has already shown he’s not afraid of sending a large force into McDonaldland and government officials have already publicly expressed that if McDonaldland continues to threaten Halland National Security, it’ll be Deja-vu all over again. However, the Halland Military, even with the assistance of the Hall Republic, does not have the capability to engage both countries simultaneously.

Confronting the Hallville Military alone would be different. Unlike the McDonaldland army, they’ll actually shoot back. Perhaps General Amongstus has pondered the idea of siding with the so called ‘mercenaries’ and marching into Hallville with the Hall Republic flanking one side of the Halland Military and the ‘mercenaries’ on the other side. Or perhaps the General goes off script and does something completely different. Whatever happens though, one thing is surely certain. Hallville or McDonaldland won’t issue any type of apology and something already tells me that the Halland Government is already aware of this.
