Halland's Special Operations Receives Modifications And See Increase in Personnel

Halland News – The Halland Military’s Special Operations Units have gone through some modifications after recently released photos by the military. Pictured below are photos of Special Operations Alpha and Delta Units. So what has changed?

"For starters, all Special Operations vehicles have undergone a new paint job,” said one military official. "In addition, some weaponry upgrades have been added specifically to the Alpha Unit. We’re still a few vehicles short for the Alpha Unit since we have now doubled the amount of Operators in that specific unit but those vehicles will arrive any day now. We increased personnel to meet the rising demands of operations requiring special tactics”

According to the military, the Alpha Unit now has approximately 50 operators assigned who are weaponry experts and skilled in operating special equipment. When deployed, the Alpha Unit’s main mission is to confront and eliminate other countries Special Forces units. Activated in 2001, Operators from the Alpha Unit saw military action during the 1st Hall War in 2002 in which 16 operators were killed in an engagement with Hallville forces inside Evelynland.

However, the Delta Unit’s main objective is to capture or kill high value enemy targets and has only 10 operators assigned to the unit. The Delta Unit was activated in 2017 and saw combat operations in May of 2017 in an attempt to capture or kill the four HSSR soldiers responsible for the execution of ten Halland Soldiers. During that operation, three Delta operators were slain.
