Halland News – Many residents in Northeastern Halland reported seeing an unidentified flying object last night around 7:00 PM local time not far from a military base. However, the Halland Military was quick to issue a response last night after multiple calls to State Police were made in order to dispel any rumors or other speculation.

"The Halland Military was conducting a test flight of a drone earlier tonight in Northeastern Halland. We apologize for the unusual scare. However, expect to see more test flights in the very near future.”

A military spokesman spoke with Halland News and indicated that the Halland Military has been experimenting with flight technology as General Amongstus has been working diligently to modernize the Halland Military. Though complete modernization of the military could be several months out, the introduction of drones in the military may change how the military operates.

"We’re in the early stages of flight testing drones and how they can be incorporated into the military,” cited a military spokesman. "We believe drones can assist in some capacity and we have begun experimenting with them. In fact, we had three flight tests yesterday with one conducted at night. There will be additional flight tests throughout the next few weeks in order to become better skilled at piloting them since flight time is very limited. Once we feel comfortable with piloting them, then we’ll look at if arming them is an option. If that is an option, then we’ll experiment with dropping ordinance.”

Now that the military has put to rest of any rumors or speculation of UFO’s entering Halland airspace, residents can be at ease and watch in amazement as the Halland Military continues to flight test drones.
