Halland, McDonaldland Meetings 'Productive'

Halland News – Late yesterday, General Amongstus met with McDonaldland leadership in Halland City to discuss the current affairs involving both countries. According to the General, the meetings were "productive” but agenda items were not released to the media.

According to sources, security was at its highest levels yet throughout Halland City due to the meeting between both countries leaders. Security was described as "intense”. Military personnel from the Reserve Infantry Division provided security but were never allowed to be alone but instead operating in teams of four. "I think the fear was very real that McDonaldland Commandoes could have been present and we know they have the stickiest ten fingers in the business,” explained the anonymous source when referencing the famed McDonaldland Commandoes.

Though the meetings went on without any credible security threats, the Halland Intelligence Agency (HIA) has issued a warning to the General that there may be some type of "Propaganda” coming out from select countries in order to ratchet up the tensions in the next few days. "Besides,” said the source, "If McDonaldland soldiers were observed in Halland, the General would authorize a strike on McDonaldland military infrastructure without hesitation. I don’t think McDonaldland would have risked soldiers being seen in Halland when the country is still reeling from a clean-up task.”

In other news, the 13rd Mechanized Infantry Division has left the McDonaldland border and has moved west of Halland City. The 17th Mechanized Infantry Division, which just recently finished up training exercises, has replaced that Division for rotation purposes. "We like to keep troops fresh and morale high,” stated the 17th Infantry Division Commander. The 17th Mechanized Infantry Division joins the 14th and 15th Mechanized Infantry Divisions currently deployed near the border of McDonaldland.
