Halland News – General Amongstus was briefed by the Hall Republic Leader, Sir Plots A lot, about the meeting with McDonaldland and Hallville top brass that took place nearly two weeks ago. According to Sir Plots A lot, during the meeting both countries referenced Halland troops near the border of McDonaldland which appear to be a bother to both Hallville and McDonaldland. However, according to sources, the 1,000 troops stationed near the McDonaldland border will be staying quite a while.

Halland News sat down with a military strategist and he is still under the impression that General Amongstus in his own timing will eventually attack key McDonaldland installations in order to send a strong message. "This won’t be an invasion which turns into an occupation,” said the military strategist. "When Halland strikes, they’ll most likely knock out key military targets in order to respond to McDonaldland’s past of violating Halland’s sovereignty.”

According to the strategist, he believes an attack would stem from Southern Halland from three directions (pictured above). The main thrust would consist of the 13^th and 14^th Mechanized Infantry Divisions supported by two tank Divisions to directly confront McDonaldland military units. This nearly 700 man force supported by tanks, artillery, and missiles would lead the main assault into McDonaldland.

The strategist also expressed that Halland’s 15^th Mechanized Infantry Division and their 300 plus troops could conduct a flanking maneuver to the left which would be supported by a light tank Division and artillery to ease pressure on the main assault.

In addition, the military strategist makes it very clear that Hall Republic troops, estimated to be around a 300 man force, supported by tanks and artillery would also join in the fight and could conduct a flanking maneuver to the right in order to thin out McDonaldland’s military forces which would also ease the burden on the main assault force.

The military strategist believes that Halland would be victorious but would face heavy casualties. "I think the main assault force could sustain a 70-80% casualty rate. The flanking units would most likely see a 20-40% casualty rate. An assault by Halland right now would look bad in the eyes of public opinion due to the clean-up efforts underway in McDonaldland. But on the other hand, we know that McDonaldland military equipment has been damaged and military personnel are not at full strength,” cited the military strategist.
