Halland News – The Halland military has reportedly shot down an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) this morning near the McDonaldland border (pictured below). The UAV was spotted by members of the 5th Mechanized Infantry Division as it entered Halland Airspace and opened fire on it using surface to air missiles (SAMs). The UAV was struck by the SAMs causing it to crash just inside the Halland border. The UAV was not armed according to those present.
"Though the UAV has been photographed and is in the process of being analyzed, we believe this particular make and model was manufactured in McDonaldland,” cited an official from the Halland Intelligence Agency (HIA). If proven to be accurate, this would be the first time that the Halland Military has opened fire on a McDonaldland military target.
The UAV was able to record at least a small portion of the Halland Military as it neared positions of the 5th Mechanized Infantry Division before being downed (pictured below). "It’s very probable that the McDonaldland military was attempting to obtain intelligence on our troop strength near their border,” stated the Commander of the 5th Mechanized Infantry Division. "We have already publicized what is near their border so we have nothing to hide.”
The Commander is referring to the three Mechanized Infantry Divisions deployed along the McDonaldland border which boasts nearly 1,000 Halland troops. In addition, Hall Republic also has a small force present now which may increase in size in the coming weeks. The HIA is monitoring not only McDonaldland forces, but also when foreign troops enter McDonaldland. "Without a doubt, the General is not going to sit idle with Hallsaw Pact troops at two borders. The General looks poised to make a statement.”
