Halland News – Late yesterday, the Hallville Government issued a declaration of war against the nation of Sammyville and according to sources, that announcement took the Halland Government by surprise. "General Amongstus was briefed as soon as the news broke and he was in complete shock, "cited a military official. The General held an emergency planning meeting with his Division Commanders and other military officials which went well into the night according to reports.

Some military analysts believe that the war mongering nation of Hallville may not be done issuing declarations of war. "This may only be the first of a few bomb shells that the Hallville Government drops,” stated an analyst. "It would not be a surprise for Hallville to all of a sudden declare war on other countries which may include Halland.”

In his only public address so far on the matter, General Amongstus tweeted out "Our military, alongside our key ally Hall Republic, is ready to respond to any country that threatens our nation!” (Above is the actual tweet).

Though military experts are not sure what the General meant by his tweet, it could be a warning that if war is declared on Halland, the General will immediately authorize military operations against McDonaldland. "I think the Hallville Government knows the threat is very real of General Amongstus giving the green light for a McDonaldland invasion,” warned an expert.

As tensions mount to levels not seen in at least three years, the Halland Intelligence Agency (HIA) is picking up ‘chatter’ amongst other Hall nations that select countries are ‘beginning to choose sides’. "Some countries are choosing to be on the wrong side of history. They’ll know very soon who they are,” stated the HIA official.
