HIA Concludes Regional Conflict Brewing Within Hall Nations

Halland News – The Halland Intelligence Agency (HIA) has concluded that a regional conflict is on the verge of breaking out within the next few months. According to HIA Officials and the intelligence obtained, many of the Hall Nations have been plotting and scheming against each other while waiting on the right opportunity to strike. "If a regional conflict were to break out, this would be a very serious threat to Halland and our key ally Hall Republic,” stated an HIA Official.

However, the HIA has not elaborated on the intelligence sources but instead have warned that casualties could be the highest they have ever been during any other conflict. It’s no secret that all of the Hall Nations except Evelynland have militarized and are stocked with plenty of troops, vehicles, and weaponry designed to cause the utmost destruction. Even the Halland Military has increased in size to combat this threat over the last two years.

According to military analysts, McDonaldland is the geographical hotspot where the next military conflict could erupt. "It’s no secret that the Halland Government at one point had ambitions of conducting a military operation against McDonaldland, but things have since gotten complicated,” cited the analyst. "The Halland Government is trying to figure out the relationship between McDonaldland and Hallville to determine if there is a possible alliance. And if there is an alliance there, things get worrisome. To put it plainly, the Halland Government would be forced to act if Hallville or HSSR were to station troops inside McDonaldland. Halland already shares a western border with Hallville and General Amongstus will not allow any Hallsaw Pact troops stationed at its’ southern Border as well.”

The military analyst argues that if Hallville or HSSR sent troops into McDonaldland, a worst case scenario may occur. Halland already has nearly 1,100 troops from 3 Mechanized Infantry Divisions stationed near the border of McDonaldland. "General Amongstus would not hesitate on sending that force from Halland into McDonaldland as it would be viewed as a provocative move if the Hallsaw Pact moved troops into McDonaldland,” stated the analyst. As a key ally to Halland, Hall Republic too would most likely join the fight against any Hallsaw Pact forces which would bolster the Halland force to nearly 1,500 combat troops. McDonaldland may view the Halland invasion as hostile and call upon the assistance of the Hallsaw Pact troops which could number more than 2,000 soldiers. It’s estimated that McDonaldland has a fighting force of nearly 1,500 combat troops. In this scenario, the military analyst believes that over 800 Sammyville troops and equipment may also enter the conflict but as to which side they would fight on is anyone’s guess. Within a small amount of time, the analyst believes that six Hall Nations would have quickly entered the conflict.

"Casualties would be extremely high within this scenario,” said the analyst. "Each Hall Nation has been collecting devastating fire power within the last few years and estimates could be as high as 1,500 casualties when all sides combined.” In fact, the analyst believes that the Halland Military may sustain the bulk of those casualties and lose upwards of two thirds of its invading force within a 24 hour time frame. "Initially, much of the deaths would come from artillery, missile, and tank fire. I don’t think there would be much close range fighting, but I could be wrong.”

The analyst believes that select countries should halt covert military operations inside other countries borders which would help ease the strain of any future conflict. "I think that’s the only way for peace.”
