Two Foreign Soldiers Seized Inside Halland

Halland News – The Halland military has seized at least two foreign soldiers that were operating inside Halland. The foreign soldiers are believed to be the ones responsible for conducting photo ops inside Halland last month which were then published by Hallville Newspapers. The Halland Intelligence Agency (HIA) stated that a tip came forward indicating that the soldiers were still inside the country after being spotted. Military personnel from the Special Operations Battalion conducted surveillance on the two foreign soldiers after they were located and eventually swooped in on their suspected hide out and seized them.

HIA officials stated that they are attempting to find out the country of origin of both soldiers but did admit that they were not talking. The HIA also believes that the foreign soldiers were having issues of getting out of Halland due to stricter border controls. "It appears that they attempted to exit Halland but were unsuccessful due to tighter security at the borders,” cited a HIA spokesman.

The HIA is also revisiting with the Halland Diplomat to gather additional information on the two soldiers and why the whereabouts of them were not included in her original statement. The name of the diplomat still has not been released but the HIA did confirm that she has been reassigned to other areas in the government with the investigation outcome pending.

"This is big news for the Halland Government and potentially very bad news for the governments of McDonaldland and Hallville who are believed to be the ones behind the photo ops inside Halland,” stated a military analyst. "It’ll be interesting to see how both countries respond to the news.”

The HIA advised Halland News that the soldiers were transported to Halland City under heavy guard under charges of ‘spying for foreign governments’ which can carry a hefty prison sentence. So far, the McDonaldland government has not commented on the seizure of the two soldiers.
