It can now be confirmed that 3 soldiers were killed, and 1 severely injured
in the blast that occurred
several days ago. Their names have not been released, still pending some
family notifications.
The local hospital also confirmed there is one soldier still in the ICU
unit, under heavy guard at this time.
The surviving soldier is in serious, but stable condition. He is reported
as having 2nd and 3rd degree burns
on his body, and his left arm was amputated due to the horrific injuries he
sustained trying to save his fellow men.
The doctors have already preformed one round of surgeries, and are waiting
until he is more stable to continue with more surgeries to remove some shrapnel
