Halland News – General Amongstus alluded months ago that the Hall Republic Leader and Halland were in talks about expanding the Hall Republic’s military foot print inside Halland. Satellite photos may have revealed that the Hall Republic military has indeed expanded a bit more into Halland. The General has not commented on the increased military presence of the Hall Republic, but military analysts have concluded that the Hall Republic Military may have increased in size.
"We know for certain that additional barracks have been built over the last month to accommodate additional troops where the Hall Republic military is based inside Halland,” cited one military analyst. "This is coming from a contracting source that was involved in the building of those barracks. It was estimated that Hall Republic had a force of approximately 300 personnel inside Halland but I think it’s safe to say that the force may be closer to 500 military personnel.”
Satellite images taken just days ago could possibly confirm that claim by the analyst. In one image, an airbase is observed in which multiple aircraft could be observed. "When using historical satellite imagery and comparing it to the newest one, that airbase was built within the past month,” stated the strategist. "And those aren’t Halland Aircraft.”
Another satellite images shows what appears to be a forward operating base located in the Northern Halland countryside which is a considerable distance from the Hall Republic Garrison. The analyst believes that the Halland Government does not have military units up in that region. Still, another satellite image reveals a compound in which military vehicles appear to be stored. The analyst concludes, "I cannot stress this enough, but this storage area of vehicles was not present 30 days ago when looking at historical satellite imagery.”
It’s no secret why the Hall Republic military is operating inside Halland, which came at the request of General Amongstus nearly two years ago, but it appears this force will be inside Halland for quite some time. According to the General, the mission of the Hall Republic force operating inside Halland is to first be an invasion deterrence to the Hallville Government. Their secondary mission is to support Halland’s 1st Infantry Division which provides security along the DMZ that separates Halland and Hallville in the event of invasion. But many believe the Hall Republic military also oversees security along Halland’s northern coastline since Halland military units seem to be spread thin throughout the country. Halland news has reached out to the Halland Government in regards to the satellite photos but the Government has not responded to any requests yet.
