Is War Imminent?

Halland News – Reportedly, there has been tough rhetoric involving the Hallville Leader and General Amongstus two days ago through various communication channels. According to sources, the Hallville Leader and the General briefed about the cabin retreat incident in which McDonaldland Commandoes infiltrated the cabin area where the General was staying. The Commandoes somehow bypassed Halland Security and photographed areas inside the cabin.

However, according to the sources, the exchange between the General and Hallville Leader did not end on a great note. The Hallville Leader was quick to point out their stance on "acts of aggression”. Clearly the General and Hallville Leader were not in any sort of agreement on the incident as the General was attempting to find a political solution. The General was overheard stating, "Hallville can send those acts of aggressions up their ….” (The General used language that Halland News had to omit from this article).

Earlier today, The General met with his Divisional Commanders from the 3rd, 4th, and 5th Mechanized Infantry Divisions briefly outside (pictured below) until they continued the meeting behind closed doors. While meetings occur regularly, the General rarely meets during the weekend and it’s interesting to note that those three divisions are extremely capable of going on the offensive. The 1st and 2nd Infantry Divisions are currently deployed for defensive purposes.

Does this mean that the Hall Nations could once again be preparing for war? "It’s not out of the question,” stated a military strategist. "I can’t say for sure if McDonaldland crossed a line or not, but clearly that kind of behavior by any military should not be tolerated. And for Hallville to even make a comment about acts of aggression is like the pot calling the kettle black. To be honest, Halland had every excuse to launch a nuke after Hallville ordered the seizure of 50 Halland soldiers in which 10 were executed at the hands of four HSSR military members.”

It’s doubtful that the General would authorize an assault on any country without the buy in from key powers, but it appears he is trying to exhaust all peaceful measures first before embarking on a military solution.
