Halland News – Approximately one third of the Hall Republic Army is currently deployed in Halland just several miles east of the DMZ. This large Hall Republic Force serves as a counter attacking unit designed to push back an invading force that attempts to negotiate the defenses along Halland’s side of the DMZ. This force also protects Halland’s Northwestern coastline from invasion. It's no secret that the Hall Republic Force is deployed in Halland at the request of General Amongstus after fears of a possible Hallville invasion over a year and a half ago. But how much longer is this sizable military unit going to remain in Halland?

For starters, both the General and Hall Republic Leader have not discussed the timing on how long the unit will stay. However, according to sources, the General has had correspondence with the Hall Republic Leader and has requested that the Hall Republic Unit already in Halland to be doubled in size. In other words, the General does want Hall Republic to have a permanent garrison inside Halland for security purposes.

"Without a doubt, many high ranking military officials believe that Hallville would have invaded Halland if it were not for the Hall Republic Force,” stated a Halland Intelligence Agency (HIA) analyst. "Hallville may know the military strength of Halland, but they were and still are unaware of the capabilities of the Hall Republic military operating inside Halland.”

Of course, Hallville went against a small contingent of a Hall Republic unit during the Battle of Annabelle. So did Halland. That battle took place inside the tiny Halland town of Annabelle after Hall Republic seized it. Both Hallville and Halland lost over 350 military personnel in order to retake the town in the battle that occurred over 2 years ago. No wonder Hallville would have been hesitant in invading Halland.

However, if the Hall Republic leader does agree on expanding their military foot print inside Halland in both size and strength, it would make it that much harder for any invading force from the Hallsaw Pact (Hallville / HSSR) to invade Halland. And for McDonaldland since McDonaldland and Hall Republic have some strong ties. The General has also vowed to defend Hall Republic if another country attempts to invade.

But for now, it appears the Hall Republic army will continue to remain in Halland for quite some time. Halland citizens will continue to see the gray military force (like the one pictured) conducting military maneuvers and drills to ensure they stay at combat readiness.
