Snow Hampering Resupply Efforts In Halland

Halland News – Winter has arrived in Halland with the first snow fall of the year. Along the DMZ, snow has been falling for hours and is expected to last the entire day into the evening hours. The sudden wintery weather has strained needed supplies such as food, water, and gas to the 1st Infantry Division and the 10th Tank Division which provides security on Halland’s side of the DMZ.

Pictured below are soldiers from the 2nd Reserve Brigade as they load up needed gas for the 10th Tank Division into a half-track. The soldiers stated that the snow has hampered their ability to rush supplies to the DMZ which are critical. According to one soldier, some vehicles such as trucks were getting stuck in the snow since the road ways towards the DMZ had not been prepped for wintery weather.

Halland has a total of three Reserve Brigades that can be called upon to assist the military in an emergency. General Amongstus activated both the 2nd and 3rd Brigades yesterday due to weather concerns in order to assist with pushing supplies to the military stationed throughout Halland which provides security for the country.

Also pictured are portions of the 1st Infantry Division's Artillery Unit which are braving the snowy weather. Some of the soldiers were able to come out of their bunkers to play in the snow.
