Military Experts See Increase In Special Military Operations

Halland News – As fragile as peace is within the Hall Nations, there have only been two major conflicts in the past 15 years. The first battle was Hall War 1 which saw security forces from Evelynland fighting alongside Halland in their attempt to fight off invaders from Hallville and Hall Republic. The war ended in a stalemate which led to the Evelynland Treaty Accord. It’s estimated that over 1,000 military personnel from all side were killed. The second major conflict was the Battle of Annabelle in which a coalition of McDonaldland, Hall Republic, and Halland troops were poised to cross the DMZ through Hallville and enforce the Evelynland Treaty Accord on HSSR due to heavy military spending. Instead, the Hall Republic Force seized McDonaldland Tanks and equipment and barricaded themselves in the Halland town of Annabelle. With the support of Hallville, the Halland military was able to eradicate the Hall Republic force from Annabelle but not after taking significant casualties. It’s estimated that over 600 from all sides perished in that fight.

According to military experts, there has been an increase in special military operations (SMO’s) within that 15 year time frame. In other words, large military units rarely see combat due to the fragile nature of the Hall Nations. "We are seeing an increase in more small scale special military operations in which elite teams infiltrate counties to conduct military operations,” stated one military expert. "In fact, just recently, Halland Delta Operators covertly crossed into Hallville in an attempt to capture or kill the four HSSR military members which are accused of executing ten Halland soldiers. During that same time frame, it’s suspected that a Sammyville soldier was snatched by an elite military team although evidence has not come forward at this point.”

"I think we are seeing countries shy away from large scale battles due to the extreme loss in military personnel and equipment,” cited a retired Halland General. Many have suggested that if there ever were to be another Hall War, it would be catastrophic to all Hall nations. It’s estimated by the Halland Intelligence Agency (HIA) that up to 4,000 military personnel could perish in such a fight due to the amount of destructive fire power each country possesses.

So with the increase of SMO’s, or special military operations, who has the superior elite military unit? All military experts can agree that the McDonaldland Commandos, which are also nicknamed ‘The Ghosts,’ are the most elite military unit in the Hall Nations. Though they have only been photographed once, The Ghosts have infiltrated most of the Hall Nations not just once, but quite often. "It’s probably more like every day,” quipped a retired Halland General.

Not only have they notched the most known military operations of a single unit, they have probably conducted just as many covert operations which have yet to hit the news. Not a single death has been documented or recorded from the unit which alone is astounding. Halland, Hallville, and HSSR have each been victimized by the McDonaldland Commandos, and some on multiple occasions. It’s also interesting to note that these Ghosts are in large part not associated to any killings or assassinations that the public has been made aware of, but operate in the arena of sabotage and the meddling of other countries affairs. "To be blunt, the McDonaldland Commandos just themselves could wreak havoc on other countries and have the frightening capability to bring most countries to their knees,” stated an HIA analyst.

Though SMO’s continue to trend upward, it can escalate very quickly to another Hall War. Tensions have been ramped up due to the suspected snatchings of multiple soldiers from Hallville, Sammyville and potentially Halland. And let’s not forget that just last month, Halland Delta Operators got into a firefight with Hallville soldiers inside Hallville. "It’s not a matter of if, but when,” stated an HIA analyst referring to when the next Hall War would occur.
