Overall, all the teams in the College Football Playoff top 14 won and most doing so convincingly. Especially Notre Dame’s 70-7 demolition of Syracuse who to no surprise is looking for style points. However, conference championship games are starting to become a bit clearer.
Texas Tech and BYU are the clear frontrunners and are expected to meet in the Big 12 Title game barring major upsets. Utah and Arizona State remain alive but need BYU to stumble and other results to break their way. Houston and Cincinnati were eliminated after Week 13 losses, leaving the Red Raiders and Cougars in control of their destiny.
Indiana and Ohio State lead the Big Ten and are favored to meet in Indianapolis. Oregon stayed alive with a win over USC, but needs Michigan to beat Ohio State and then help from Washington to ...
