Fall is just around the corner which signals the start of the College Football season. And with the start of the College Football season just weeks away, it also means that the annual Hall Family ESPN Pick’ems Contest is about to kick off. So here’s a reminder of what happened last year:

1.      David (559 Points)

2.      Cindie (552 Points)

3.      Wendi  (551 Points)

4.      Dave (535 Points)

5.      Adam (532 Points)

6.      Mike (530 Points)

7.      Megan (527 Points)

8.      Kim (522 Points)

9.      Mom (507 Points)

10.  Brendan (466 Points)

11.  Teddy (130 Points)

So what can we expect from this year's participants? We have no idea on how many will decide to play just yet, but one thing is certain…David, Cindie, and Adam will always be favored.

Shockingly, Wendi may have found her groove and could be a threat to finally win one of these things.

Sure, Megan won the whole ball of wax in 2017, but that’s not happening again. Hell won’t freeze over twice.

Mike always starts off with a bang. But he’ll have one of those weeks he just never seems to recover from. Will it change this year?

Kim also seems to do well for a bit and all of a sudden… her picks go MIA.

Putting the surgery aside that kept him from making picks, Teddy would have finished in last place anyways. Some things never change.

Mom plays Pick’ems like she does the lottery…hoping and praying for something to happen. And a lot like playing the lottery, hasn’t won anything yet.

Could you imagine if Brendan had a huge turn around and finished in the top 3? Yeah, I couldn’t imagine that either.

Will Dave play for the third straight year or has he had enough? He's already in the hole $20.00.

Rumors are circulating that Marc may end up playing. We’ll see though.

So if you like your chances of finishing up in the top spot, send your $10 entry fee directly to Cindie before the week one games kick-off. If Cindie does not receive the money, nor have you made arrangements to send, your entry for the cash prize will be removed. Even if you don’t like your chances of finishing near the top spot, send your $10 entry fee regardless so the cash prize is larger for David Cindie Adam everyone else.

As always, we will be chatting on Saturdays, or whenever throughout the College Football season on the GroupMe App. Feel free to contact me if you want to join the fun.

The first week of Picks are out. Good luck!
